Merry Christmas

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and a Joyous New Year!

What Does "Merry Christmas" Really Mean? The phrase “Merry Christmas” has been part of holiday traditions for centuries. One of its earliest well‑known uses in modern culture appeared in 1843 on the first commercially produced Christmas card, which included the message: “A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You.”
Yet long before greeting cards existed, Christmas was widely described as a “merry” occasion, a time filled with joy, community, and celebration.

Thanksgiving stands as one of the most American holidays, an autumn ritual fixed in tradition and honor of the nation's earliest arrivals during colonial days. Thanksgiving celebrations in America may be directly traced to the European settlers offering prayers for survival and thanksgiving after their journey to America.
