Visiting Guidelines

 Welcome to Bellflower Behavioral Health, where the health and safety of our patients, families, and staff are our top priority. All guests (visitors and vendors) must check in at the main lobby front desk to obtain a visitor’s pass and screened by our security personnel.

 

Visitation Hours

  • Our hospital visitation hours are daily 7 – 9 p.m. Visitors are only allowed in the designated visitation area below:
    • Unit 1: Patio
    • Unit 2: Dining room

 

 Visitation Guidelines

·       Up to 2 visitors 16 years old and above are allowed to visit a patient/resident at one time per day.  The maximum visitation time is 15 minutes.

·       To ensure the patient’s safety, one of our staff members will escort each visitor to the visitation area.

·       Refrain from lingering/gathering in hallways.

·       Please do not visit if you have COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms.

 

Additional Visitor Guidelines

  • Visitors must sign in with name, date, contact information and whom they will be visiting before entering the hospital. The hospital will maintain the sign-in log
  • Visitor belongings need to be checked at the lobby (security) for contraband. Visitors’ belongings, such purses or bigger items, are not to be brought in the unit. Lockers will be provided upon request. 
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring food for the patients except for sealed food for cultural or religious reasons, or by physician order. Fast food may not be ordered or brought in.

·       The hospital may address any disruptive behavior in addition to violence, threats of violence or prohibited behavior whenever conduct generates a reasonable concern for the safety or well-being of staff, patients or visitors, or significantly disrupts the hospital operations or interferes with medical care.
