Quality and Safety
Our Commitment to Provide Safe, Quality Mental Health Services
At Bellflower Behavioral Health Hospital, we are committed to earning the trust of our patients and their loved ones. That’s why our No. 1 priority remains providing safe, quality, compassionate mental health care.
Our Journey to Create a Culture of Safety
We are committed to be a High Reliability Organization (HRO), which means we continuously work together to improve patient outcomes and provide a safe environment for our patients. We foster a culture of safety in our hospital by following and monitoring our quality and safety practices and continuously seek ways to improve care.
Safety is our top priority at Bellflower Behavioral Health Hospital and core to our values. This why we are committed to becoming an HRO. In an HRO, everyone from our leadership to our frontline staff is committed to the goal process of providing every patient with safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care.
Our culture of safety compels us to hold one another accountable and encourages everyone to speak up about patient care concerns.
To support our safety culture, we've established behavior expectations for clinical and non-clinical staff. These expectations call everyone to make a personal commitment to safety, be accountable for clear and complete communication, and remove barriers to cross-functional collaboration.
